Originally named the ‘Wimpy Bar’ in 1954, Wimpy UK began at the Lyon’s Corner House in Coventry Street, London. Serving fast-food within the Corner House restaurant, Wimpy’s fame grew and they rapidly established individual restaurants serving hamburger-based meals. Today, almost 60 years later, Wimpy UK is an iconic British brand satisfying hungry fans across the United Kingdom.
